Okay, so I've been calling my sweet hubby, "Phil" the last couple of days. I just had to blog about it. I found this picture on the internet. Phil Stacey was one of the AI contestants last season who had a bald head. Why am I calling my husband, Phil, you ask? Well, he shaved his head yet again before running hood to coast. Now he has to put up with my taunting, which he takes pretty well! I love you my bald headed runner man!

Visiting

I just thought this picture was cute. My dad spent a lot of time cruising around with Will today. Here they are sharing some watermelon.

Five generations--me, Grandma Doris, Will, Mom, and Great Grandma Jewell

Kisses from Grandma Novie

Today was the day of visiting! First we saw Grandma Doris, where my aunts and great grandma are staying. Then we went to see Grandma Novie. She said if I didn't bring that grandson of hers over there she was going to get mad at me. Well, I just cannot stand the thought of Grandma Novie being mad at me, so I made sure to stop by there too!

Oklahoma!

Mom drinking her mocha--ooh la la!

Mom helping Will to check out all kinds of fun sea creatures in the touch pool

Mom, Aunt Rosalee, and Aunt Linda

Will and Aunt Rose

We had sunny blue skies, but it was still a little windy out!

No, I don't mean the musical! My great grandma Jewell and my great aunts have been here visiting with all of us. Friday, Mom and I took Aunt Linda and Aunt Rose to the beach. Will was such a trooper! It was a pretty long day for him. He definitely slept well that night! I made sure to take everyone to Cafe Stephanie (one of my favorite places AND named after a favorite friend). After that we went to a couple of the quaint shops. Next we went to the aquarium. Maybe I am a nerd, but I just love that place. It's so much fun, especially because Will seems to get such a kick out of it! Our next pit stop was for seafood because you just have to eat seafood when you are at the coast. That is unless you are a semi-vegetarian like me, then you eat grilled cheese! After our bellies were full we were able to appreciate the ocean even more. Then it was time for more shopping!

I have to tell you that it was so much fun hanging out with my mom and aunts, just being a bunch of girls running around, telling stories and shopping. I love spending time with all of them. Poor Will, always surrounded by the ladies! He didn't seem to mind too much! What a great day!

Go, Granny, Go!!!

Bare with me, I'm behind in blogging and this happened AFTER Will's haircut! These pictures are from the drag races. In case you don't already know, my mom races cars. Will and I went to watch her a couple of weekends ago. As we were getting ready to leave, Will decided to emulate his Grammy. I thought it best for him to start out in a four cylinder family car! Maybe one day he will get to cruise in the Camaro!!!

Will's First Haircut

Here are some pictures from Will's first haircut. I took him to Nancy's, where my family has been going for a long time. I gave in and let Nancy give him his first lollipop. It distracted him while she got the job done. It turned out pretty cute. He looks like such a little man now!!!

My Love/Hate Relationship with Daisy

Okay, so maybe hate is too strong of a word to use, but love/annoyance didn't have the same ring to it for the title of this blog. Let me tell you that I really love my dog--really. She used to be the little queenie of the household. That all seemed to change when Will came along. Now she is driving me a little batty. She seems to bark at nothing. This occurs, of course, when Will is about 20 minutes into a nap. My plans for getting anything done are foiled because now the baby is crying and for what? Daisy wasn't trying to save my life from a burglar or alert me to some disaster.

As I type these words, Daisy is looking up to me with that little doggy smile of hers, endearing me to her once again (sigh). Maybe one of the problems is our sweet puppy has been a bit neglected since most of our time these days is spent doting on Will. This could explain why Daisy smells so foul and has talons in place of nails. She hasn't been bathed or clipped too regularly. I admit it. Please don't report us to PETA.

Last week I was with Will in the living room. All of a sudden I hear this crash. I walked into the kitchen to see what was going on in there and what do I see? A beagle with all four paws on my kitchen table, looking up at me, as if to say, "wasn't me". Oh, Daisy! I love you despite your beagle ways.
