Ultrasound
The whole family went with me while I had my ultrasound. Ella was in Mike's arms most of the time twirling her hair and sucking her thumb. Will was a little more spunky. At one point he was looking at the baby on the screen and playing peek-a-boo. Afterwards he wanted to know when he could hold the baby. I was happy to see a beating heart. The baby wasn't particularly active since it was 10 in the morning. I usually feel the most action as I am laying down to sleep at night. There's always something special about seeing the baby inside of you during an ultrasound, a reminder of the miracle that occurs within a woman's body. I'm anxious to meet this new life. Oh yeah, in case you're wondering...it's a girl! Woo-hoo! I get to experience the joy of sisters! Will is already such a great big brother to Ella I'm sure he'll be great with this new little one too. It's a lot of fun this time around with Will because we can actually talk to him about the new arrival and he can understand more of what is happening. All in all a very exciting and busy time of our lives. We feel very blessed.
