Photo Op

I had a little photo session with Ella last week. Here are some of the pictures. She is growing and changing so fast! I'm saving the best picture for her birth announcement which I STILL haven't sent out! Luckily my crafty little friend, Katie Jane, helped me secure materials last weekend and I'm hoping to get them completed in the next week or so...

By the way, Ella is already so chunky I can hardly button this dress. I'm so sad that she is already growing out of it. Luckily she has some other really cute numbers I can put her in!

In other news...I was called "brave" this morning at the coffee shop when some folks saw me with Will and Ella. A lady there also gave Will a great compliment. She said that when he smiled his eyes smiled too. I just thought that was so sweet. I do have to work up courage to go out with the two of them right now. Will is in hug and attack mode, as I like to call it. You think he's being so cute and hugging another toddler until you hear either a choking sound because Will is squeezing their neck or crying because Will has wrestled them down to the ground with his brute toddler strength. If I'm nursing I have to yell no at him from afar. This doesn't work at all. If I'm there I usually have Ella in the front pack and I have to pry him off of the victim. Good thing I have experience in such matters having been an elementary school teacher, eh?

The past three weekends have been filled with many a wedding festivity! Here are some pics for you to enjoy. It has been crazy and busy, but oh so much fun and Ella has been along for the ride. She's been all over Oregon during these first few weeks of her life! The first weekend was Kristina's bridal shower. She looked beautiful and it was fun to celebrate her and her upcoming marriage. The next weekend was the bachelorette sleepover. I opted out of the sleepover portion, but drove over to Lincoln City on Saturday to have fun with the girlfriends. We had a great time walking along the beach laughing and catching up with each other. By the way, if you are looking for a great place to eat over at Lincoln City, try the Blackfish Cafe. I had the best lunch there and I also recommend leaving room for dessert! The weekend after that was the wedding, which was gorgeous. It felt very intimate with a smaller crowd and it was great to be with high school friends. Isn't it great when you can spend time with your friends that you have a history with? They know your past and your family, they knew who you were before you had kids and can remind you of where you came from. I love spending time with these guys!
