Trick or Treat!

I had to take a picture of the face pain while it was still fresh!
My trick or treaters: A doggie, a skeleton, and a friendly witch

We made it in time to receive chocolate chip cookies at one of the businesses downtown.  Score!!!
Our friend Danelle and her boys.  I just thought she was adorable all dressed up and needed to have her picture taken!
Whew!  All that trick or treating made us hungry!  We had to take a break!

The friendly witch grew tired of her wig and let daddy wear it for a while!

Hope you and yours had a happy Halloween!!!

Pumpkin Carving

Will and Ella did most of their own carving work this year.  Aren't they so grown up!  We don't have a picture of Will's finished product here, but you can tell that he was taking this task seriously!

 Now Daddy and Audrey!
Can you tell how steep the slide is from this picture????

That's me...photographic evidence that I DID go down the slide!
 Oh, Audrey, my little hambone!

Audrey and I had the chance to tag along during Ella's field trip to the pumpkin patch.  It was great to be with our Ella!

Out for a long, luxurious dinner with my girls

Candlelight lunch with Wendy and Kory.  Sadly, Erin is not pictured here, but rest assured she was a part of the festivities!

Hello out there to those of you who still check the blog to see if, just maybe, I might have finally gotten around to updating!  Stephanie, this is mostly for you!  Thanks for motivating me to jump back into the blogging world again!

I am so grateful for my beautiful family and friends who lifted me up in many ways this birthday season.  Thanks, everyone!

Spring Break

 Flying her "kite"
 My joyful son
 Will and Ella's "kite"

The kids and I had such a good Spring Break together.  It was so nice to have our Will back in the mix.  I wish I would have captured more on film, but here's my recap so that I don't forget our special week:

Monday: A day to chill out, at least for the kids.  I had to go to the dentist and get a filling.  We read books, played indoors and outdoors, etc.

Tuesday:  Hosted an all day playdate at our house.

Wednesday: This was my favorite day of the whole vacation. I took the kids to miniature golf. Will and I were cracking up at Ella because when she golfs she looks like she is sweeping the kitchen floor. She basically keeps swiping at the ball until it lands in the hole! Audrey followed suit. There was also a bowling alley attached to this place so when Will asked if we could do that after our round of golf I thought, "Sure, why not? It's Spring Break!" I have to say I was kind of proud of myself for going bowling with three kids by myself. They set up bumpers and a ramp for us so the girls could just put the bowling ball on top and push it down the alley. It was great. They also had some old school videos playing on the tv screens above us. Remember when MTV played music videos? Those were the days!

Thursday:  Sunnyside up and Bouncy House

Friday:  Beach!
