Hot Mamas

Marianne, Alyssa, Kara, Heidi, Betsy w/baby Claire, Holly Wendy, Juliette, Adrienne, Lisa and Christine--The hottest mamas around!
Hot mamas + me

Wendy, who made me an amazing cake!!! Thanks, Wendy!!!
Kara was very sneaky and let all of the moms know that it was my birthday. We usually have a women's night out each month. This time around we decided to have it at Marianne's and make our own food and drinks as a cost saving measure! Little did I know that they would be waiting for me to wish me a happy birthday! Marianne had cute balloons to make the occasion festive and also had a pear cosmo waiting for me. Wendy made a cake, which, if you have made a cake from scratch, you know is an act of love. It also tasted incredible--there was only one tiny slice leftover to take home! It was a great night and so much fun to celebrate with these wonderful women. I love them so much! Thanks gals!!!

Potty Time

I forgot to share the big news with you all. Will used the potty for the first time last Tuesday!!! I know, I know, I'm sure you can hardly contain yourself with all of the excitement...

Why is it that excrement becomes such a big deal after you have kids???

Pumpkin Patch

My favorite people
We have a picture just like this when Will went to the pumpkin patch for the first time.
Happy to be on the tractor with Daddy!
My guys found the perfect pumpkin.

Ella is getting ready for her first trip to the pumpkin patch!
Will's favorite part was riding on the tractor.
Mike had to explain to him that, yes, the tractor would return.
Cheeeeeeeeese!
Take a look at this picture up close if you can. I caught Will just before he was going to jump off the hay bale.
We took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch this year and had a really great time. It's so nice to have a day just to hang out together as a family. Enjoy the pics!

Progressive Dinner & Painting

Kohyn & Ella
Can you believe Kohyn is 3 weeks older than Ella? My babies are chunky!

My friend, Kristina and I have birthdays 5 days apart. For her big 3-0 birthday party I decided to "plan" a progressive dinner party. I've decided I could use some help in the old planning department, but it turned out really well. I think everyone had a good time and it was good to catch up with the high school gang. We had great viddles, including Cassie's famous artichoke dip, Leah's homemade potato leek soup made with veggies from her CSA basket, and Katie's extraordinary raspberry tiramisu--YUM!!!

The following day Leah and Katie came over to paint my living room. The color is latte now and I'm loving it! Could you ask for a better birthday gift than your girlfriends to help you paint your living room?! I have some dedicated gal pals, don't I?! They did a great job on the walls. I still have one more to paint, since we decided it needed to be a darker color. I'm going to attempt to finish that up this week. I'll keep you posted!

Got Milk?

The other night Mike and I were watching Red Sox highlights. I sat down to nurse Ella and all of a sudden Will starts saying, "I drink milk, I drink milk". Then he proceeds to walk over to Mike and lifts his shirt up. We cracked up when we realized what he was trying to do! I don't know if you all will think this is as funny as we did, but I thought I'd share anyway!
