Easter

Ella on the move as usual

Checking out the contents of her Easter pail

I only included this because of Daisy :)

Will checking out the contents of his sissy's Easter pail

Auntie Kristin holding Daisy back :)

The Easter bunny brought Will a shovel so he could help mama with the yard work!

We had a really great Easter this year. I was a little disorganized, but it was lovely. We woke up to find our Easter pails in the morning. It was fun to see Will get excited. Ella didn't really know what was happening! Auntie Kristin stayed the night with us so she was there to experience it. After the morning festivities, Kristin took off for a four mile run. She came back to the house and we went twelve and a half miles together. She was a fab running partner. Running in the morning left me with a good excuse to eat a big dinner!

dear ella,

i just want to go on the record saying I TRIED to convince your mother to cut that mullet. i mean, i really gave it my best effort. for months i've been trying! all i have to say is: i'm sorry, little one. i know it's the reason you keep screaming all the time - you're trying to say CUT THE MULLET ALREADY! but they just don't listen. that's right: they. other people are okay with it too. i know, it's crazy, right? and then she goes and puts pictures of it on the internet. and not just baby mullet pictures... BED HEAD BABY MULLET pictures. so if by chance your mama and i aren't friends anymore, it's because i cut off your mullet when she wasn't looking and she's no longer speaking to me. anyway, i just wanted to let you know, years from now when you read this blog, that i stood up for you.

love,
katie
